What are the requirements to sign up for Fies?

Currently the requirements to benefit from FIES are:

  • Have taken the Enem test and achieved an average equal to or greater than 450 points and not have failed the essay;
  • Have a gross family income of up to 3 minimum wages per capita;
  • Be enrolled in a higher education course at a university recognized by the MEC;
  • Do not have a higher education diploma.

However, there are other conditions for signing up that may change depending on the chosen financing format and also the program's current policies.

Anyway, now let’s move on to the last and most important phase: registration. 

If you want to apply for a position at Fies, follow the steps below:

  • Access the program's official website;
  • Click on “My registration” and fill in your details as the website asks;
  • Enter your family income and decide the type of financing you want;
  • Choose the course and college where you are enrolled;
  • Confirm the information and complete the registration;

After that, just wait for the selection result that Fies will publish on its selection website. 

However, it is good to pay attention to the date so as not to miss your chance. So, we want to remind you here that in 2023 the scheduled date for publication is March 14th.
