Bringing together a total of 128 teams, divided into 32 groups, this is one of the most disputed tournaments in Brazil.

Copinha is the biggest youth football championship in the country, it is broadcast live across Brazil by several broadcasters.

In this competition, several clubs send their youth players to play, to see how the kids do in a big competition.

The championship brings together scouts from all over the world, all of them looking for the next big promise in Brazilian football.

Therefore, all players give their best, the Copinha is a unique opportunity for young athletes to stand out.

The competition takes place in two stages, first, the teams go through a group stage, then face each other in elimination matches.

The 128 teams are divided into 32 groups with four teams each, the teams in the same group play against each other, the two best placed advance to the knockout stage.

In other words, of the 128 teams that start the competition, after the group stage, only 64 remain, to then face each other in direct confrontations in the knockout stage.

The placed teams will face each other in knockout games until the final, whoever wins advances, but whoever loses is out of the competition.

Big clubs from all over the country participate, however, the São Paulo Football Federation is the one who chooses which clubs will play in the competition.

However, clubs that play series A and B of the Brasileirão, as long as they meet all the criteria established by the FPF, are always invited to participate.

Therefore, the presence of big clubs such as Santos, Corinthians, Palmeiras and many others is already guaranteed.

The Copinha started on January 2, 2023, but the games are still going on, so you can still watch the big games live.
